| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept card payments. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. Installation It is the buyers responsibility to make sure goods purchased are correct for the installation requirements. Firesurrounds shall only be fitted by an experienced fireplace installer who will have all the tools and fittings to fit the surround safely and to all current Building Regulations and British Standards in force at that time. It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure their installer is qualified for the job. Not all manufactures supply fittings or installation instructions. In the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect stopping the firesurround fitting together correctly (not resulting from damage), Billericay Fireplaces Ltd will replace parts or the whole firesurround at our discretion, provided that the parts have not been fitted or fixed in any way. Our liability will end there and we will in no way be responsible for any other costs incurred however caused. Gas fires must be fitted by Gas Safe Registered installers www.gassaferegister.co.uk Solid fuel fires must be installed by HETAS registered installers www.hetas.co.uk We would suggest that you do not book a date for fitting your goods until the item has been delivered to you. | Shipping And Handling We offer FREE LOCAL DELIVERY You may collect larger Items yourselves from our premises such as Firesurrounds and thus will save on delivery fees. Please be aware that many firesurrounds are very heavy and a suitable vehicle will be needed. If you wish to collect we will advise you when the goods are available. Please note many goods have to be ordered in. Delivery for Firesurrounds and some Larger Items is restricted to UK Mainland (excluding Scotland). Delivery charge is £68.00 inc vat. We try to use dedicated carriers where possible, this way damages are reduced to a minimum. If you are outside this area please contact us and we will try and arrange alternative delivery arrangments. Please arrange for an able bodied adult to assist our driver with the delivery as you will need to check the goods and sign as received in perfect condition. We will not leave goods until signed for. Where a specific delivery date has been agreed and this delivery date cannot be met. The buyer will be given the opportunity to arrange a further delivery date agreeable to both parties or a full total refund of the order. We will use all reasonable methods to meet agreed delivery times, in any advent, delivery will not be of the essence and Billericay Fireplaces or its agents shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the buyer or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any specific or estimated delivery date. Delivery of the goods shall be made to the buyers address as specified when ordered. It is the buyers responsibility to make sure there is adequate free parking for a large vehicle up to 18 tons outside the property. Goods will be delivered to the door but not carried upstairs or into lifts. For insurance reasons we are not allowed to bring goods indoors. If we are unable to deliver to you the carriers will pass the failed delivery charge and return delivery charge to us to pay, we will then have to charge you the buyer, these fees, unless you have made us aware of potential delivery problems in advance. Once the goods have left our warehouse we regret that we will have to charge you the delivery fee and return delivery fee back to our premises. If the goods on arrival are damaged, do not sign for them and please contact Us immediately. We will make all the necessary arrangements to re-supply you. Once inspected and signed for in good condition we will not take the goods back if they are subsequently found to be damaged. Risk in the goods shall pass to the buyer upon delivery of the goods and signed for. If the buyer fails to take delivery at the agreed delivery time the risk in goods will pass to the buyer at this time. | Delivery Schedule Please allow 21 days for deliveries on firesurrounds some goods may take longer. Small items such as electric fires, taps, towel rails etc may be delivered within 5 days via normal carriers. The delivery charge for all Items is noted within product descriptions. You must inform us immediately if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. |

| Guarantee The majority of products offered on this website come a minimum one year manufacturers warranty covering parts and labour (damages and breakages not included). However some products may only come with a standard parts only guarantee. Please verify with the respective manufacturer prior to placing an order with us. Many manufacturers may insist that you call back the original installer where possible. We advise that whoever is installing the goods for you offers a comprehensive quarantee of their workmaship to include re-visits to check their work and products, should the need arise under a parts only warranty. If you fail to obtain such an agreement with the installer this many result in unnecessary call our charges to be paid by you for wasted time on behalf of the manufacturer for non-warranty related issues. In the case of firesurounds we reserve the right to replace parts or the whole firesurround at our discretion not excedding the value of the original firesurround purchase price. Our liabiities will end there. We will under no circumstances will pay any costs however caused. The buyer will have to pay delivery charges. | Returns Policy When buying online these Terms and Conditions apply, Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. If the goods on arrival are damaged, do not sign for them and please contact Us immediately. We will make all the necessary arrangements to re-supply you. Once inspected and signed for in good condition we will not take the goods back if they are subsequently found to be damaged. The buyer has the right under UK distance selling regulations to change their mind and send the goods back within 7 days of receipt of the goods. The goods must be unused, in perfect condition, in the original packaging and ready for immediate resale. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. We reserve the right to charge an administration and restocking fee of 20% of the total value of the order. We will inspect the goods on arrival at our premises and if they are found not to be in perfect condition and in the original packaging the goods will be returned to you at your cost. If you wish to return goods within 7 days of receipt you must contact us and obtain a returns order number, without this number we will not take goods back. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed. These terms apply to your order.
